
Pier One Bar & Grill is a successful restaurant chain with 3 branches around the Philippines, serving crowds of 1,000 to 1,200 a night in their Fort Square branch alone.
Challenge: As the epicenter of activity in Libis, The Fort and Boracay, Pier One needed a way to keep the public up-to-date about its events and promos, allow their loyal patrons to reserve tables in its often crowded restaurants, and allow companies to book the popular venues for special events.
Solution: To help keep people informed about the monthly promos and schedule of events in all 3 venues, Dot Engineers dedicated a separate "What's New" section on the homepage and created a newsletter signup form so they can receive the updates via email.
An online reservations form was created to facilitate bookings and a general inquiry form was built to allow other types of feedback to be sent.
Results: Pier One's new website has generated new business by providing quick online booking and reservations to its dining customers and corporate clients. Plans for the next phase of development include an online membership signup form and a live webcam feed from 1 of the 3 venues.
